This piece was inspired by the amazing Shoe Surgeon and his mastery of the construction of shoes. This piece won a bronze in graphic design at the Addy’s.

In order to show a different side of the prolific children’s’ book, The Giving Tree, I reproduced the cover. Using a reflective T placed atop a stump, as you move the cover it reveals the two sides of the story, giving and taking away. This mirrors the life of the tree from beginning to end.
